How it all started
From a very early age I was drawn to the world of entertainment. The media industry full of movies, music and television was something I could never get enough of. Coupled with my love for negotiation and research, I knew my calling was IP and Entertainment Law. It wasn't until after I had the privilege of working as In-house Counsel and Operations for IMG and The Wall Group, that I saw first-hand the void in representation for the brilliant talent behind the curtain.
Philosophy
Kahn Media Law exists because we want each and every creative freelancer to understand the agreements they sign. I believe that today's digital economy is a machine fueled by contributions of brave and independent voices - the fact that creatives are pressured to sign one-sided contracts without having someone in their corner is a major problem facing our generation. In creating Kahn Media Law, I sought out to build a new type of law firm that gives every independent artist their own business & legal affairs department.
KML represents influencers, models, on-camera talent, BTS talent (hair/makeup/style), artists, and creative consultants working in all areas of the fashion, media, and entertainment industries.
